Prosidon at Data Centre World Asia 2024

The Prosidon team attended Data Centre World Asia 2024 on 9–10 October at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, meeting with leaders across the data center and digital infrastructure industry as investment and development activity continued to accelerate across APAC.

The event came at an interesting time for the regional market. Singapore remained a major data center hub but continued to face constraints around land and power, while Johor was experiencing rapid growth. With power availability in Johor becoming more challenging, Thailand was increasingly being discussed as another Southeast Asian market to watch. Japan was also attracting growing interest from hyperscalers, data center developers, operators and infrastructure investors.

From a recruitment perspective, conversations at the event reflected growing demand for experienced engineering and operations talent. As platforms expanded and new facilities progressed through construction, commissioning and into operations, companies were increasingly looking for people capable of designing, delivering and operating infrastructure to hyperscale standards.
